Kim's third time out. AYC cancelled WNR due to "threat of thunderstorms" which did not appear in the radar or forecasted to take place before 9PM. Cancelled due to an "excess of wind".

Anthony Girard was to sail with us on Argo, but he was needed on a friend's Beneteau Corybantic. Anthony's friend, Katie, a nurse profusionist and delivery captain, was to join us on Constance, but she decided to go the Boatyard Bar and Grill. John Donegan was to join us on Argo, but he bailed upon hearing that AYC cancelled. Guessing that TC has prevailed upon John to sail so that it would not be Kim and I alone, aboard Argo, in force 5 conditions.

Motored out. Kim had excitement enough from the wave action without any sail flying. So, we motored out to R "4" running about 3.4 knots on the GPS with the engine at 2,000 to 2,200rpm. Wind instrument reading 20 to 25 knots. Allowed Kim to drive a bit as we approached R "4". Turned around at R "4", readings on wind instrument fell to 15 to 17 knots while we made as much as 5.5 knots on the GPS. Motored upstream to just past the corner to the Naval Academy to watch the waves hit it seawall. A bit of a disappointment, the water level was so high that there was little of the seawall exposed. A bit of flooding in Downtown Annapolis.

By the end, Kim was somewhat more comfortable with the boat's motion in the waves. Returned to dock. Quiet, smooth docking.
